Supporters of the CLC:

We have decided that the time has come to dissolve the Collaborative Learning Center. The work we’ve been doing will continue, but homed in the partner organizations who constituted the CLC. In addition, we’re excited about the new Yale Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the possibility of amplifying our work through the aggregation of many wonderful people and organizations, several of whom have been stalwart backers of the CLC all along.

The iPad lending program and Bass Media Equipment checkout remain active collaborations. (For this term, you’ll even still get notifications about iPad class-set calls for proposals and deadlines from the CLC email address.) We’re quite proud of helping start, stabilize, and expand these programs as the Collaborative Learning Center. We look forward to new avenues for creative approaches to supporting teaching and learning at Yale as a larger, campus-wide Center for Teaching and Learning.

Your support for LuxTalks shows the vital need for a public showcase addressing intersections and divergences of pedagogy, libraries, and technology, so we are collectively considering future formats for similar series.

We’d like to keep your voice in the conversation, so please take our five-item survey to share your thoughts with us.

Sincerely,
The Collaborative Learning Center
